Business Line of Credit a Good Source of Credit for Your Business Start Up

There is always a need for cash when you start a business or if you want to get your business running. Comes a time when money is low and you desperately need it. What you can do, is to move funds from other sources, and one of this business line of credit. Lines of Credit is often given by banks, licensed finance companies and banks.

These are difficult times, and once the company has been exceeded, would it mean that the company is viable and can be managed adequately.

You can pay for this form of funding to meet your bills, buy equipment and even maintenance of the business. When applying for, do not forget that you are going to debit or credit cards to show you how to use the money. The advantage for the business line of credit, small business line of credit, unsecured personal loan, new business loans is that it is easy to process in general.

The credit can be used for your short term needs. He may as merchants' capital, supplies and other goods to buy in the list are used. Choose a Business Line of Credit is a good commercial capital. You can finance you need for your business.

Yesterday I took a long train trip to the cosy city of Arnhem for a lecture and met with the lovely blogger Chantal from CocoRosa afterwards. We had a cappuccino, chatted about blogs and media, about New York and about fabulous shoes. Chantal showed me around her home town and brought me to one of her favorite spots; a fabrics-store with an amazing concept.

It is a project of the Arnhem Academy of Art and Design called 'Trickle Down' which refers to the handing down of left overs from established designers 'dripping down' to the not yet so established. It is basically a store filled with scraps, left over rolls of the most delicate and rare fabrics that come from Dutch and Belgian designers. Pieces of pink and turqoise metallic leather that were fetched from the Dries van Noten ateliers were hanging in the racks, extremely long messing zippers and a lovely, helpful lady from the academy who also used to teach Victor and Rolf among others.

I bought a couple of Riri zippers yesterday. But regretted not getting more of the unique pieces they offer. This morning my boyfriend and I decided to hop on the train and came back with more zippers, a piece of leather that looks like elephant skin and I found an amazing black metal clasp from Ann Demeulemeester. Now it's time to think about what to do with all these fantastic materials.

Really rubbish outfit photos but I thought it may get me back into the swing of doing outfit posts. These were just taking on my simple nikon so when I can get my sister to take using her digital slr lumix camera we should be in business! Not an outfit of the day but one that I wore a couple of weeks ago when it was still dead mild and was way to hot wearing a coat. I love tartan scarfs, my adoration started for them last year, I have this green one, two red tartan scarfs and recently just bought a yellow rupert bear style one which I love!

It was my last day at work yesterday, so glad to be out of that place and have time to focus on everything that I want to but I will miss all my friends there. Tonight I'm going out for christmas drinks/ leaving drinks with them all and I'm trying to decide whether to go vampy (red, dark lips, smudgy simple eye makeup) or 60s bardot make-up (pale pink lips with smokey, feline flick eyes) Give me your 2 cents! Now I just need to get ready to go to a christmas craft fair which is just down the road. What are you all up to this weekend?

Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend the opening of the 13th Louis Vuitton Maison store in Sydney.
After the beautiful Cate Blanchett cut the ribbon, I was free to roam around three floors of Louis Vuitton
heaven. Designed by the Louis Vuitton architects in Paris, the building was absolutely breath taking and
what I found inside was even more spectacular. From jewellery, to leather goods, to womenswear and
accessories, I could have probably explored for days. What is really special about this LV store is it is the
second store to provide made-to-order service for selected leather goods. That means you can get your
own one of a kind LV bag finished with your initials! So whether you're interested in purchasing or you
just wanted to have a look at what the store is like, I suggest you head down because the doors have just
opened to public today.

Vigil Strange I Kept On The Field

The base I live on is rather small and not largely populated, but still it can be hard to find a quiet spot free of troops drilling, or people fishing and walking their dogs; I'm even leery of the occasional hunter. So, it was nice to discover this field without fences where no one else seems to go that I can wander in quiet privacy. It's wonderful to be alone in nature as the sun is setting--just to watch the light shift and see birds wing across a golden turning pink sky. Soon cooler weather will drive most casual visitors and noisy birds away. Last year I felt as if the beach near my house belonged to me, as I was the only one who claimed possession of it when it was twenty degrees and the wind was whipping hard against your face. No other footsteps followed mine when I cut a path across it in the snow on a bright December day. Soon, I hope to claim small corners of this base as well--places where no one else will venture once the temperatures drop, but still hold beauty to me.

Now this makes me happy!

Sexy Sweaters is a Tumblr. website full of photoshopped, pop culture, pop art (yes you guessed it) sweaters!

As of now these are not being made and thus for sale, they are just images, but I do really hope they can bike around the copy-rights and produce these!

It actually makes me think about brands a lot in the way that they sell lifestyles and images themselfs to market the products. The whole day we are surrounded by these campaigns! But then as soon as a brand reaches the pop culture status they get really protective in the way these do find a "meaning" in our lives, like they copyrighted the way we should think, feel or use the product too? My feeling is that when a brand has become pop culture or lifestyle (actually by meaning of their own campaigns) it should also gives us the right to showcase how these fit in our lives, no?

Happy December! Amongst one of my favorite months of the year, I know this one

will not disappoint. I have a few trips planned and some exciting things to look

forward to in the near future. Details about that some time soon. Anyways, I finally

got my prescription lenses in these BonLook glasses! I am still not very used to

glasses, but I have certainly been loving these ones. I like that they are unique, yet

not too large and outright silly. And here is yet another one of my sweaters. Now the

large size of my sweater collection is definitely something that is outright silly. I

have a problem, but at least I am aware of it right?

Anyways, I hope you all are having a very merry December 1st. I say

to celebrate, drink you're favorite warm drink. Currently I am sipping on

a Chai Latte and it's really hitting the spot. :)

Once A Vision From The Woods

It's actually been a couple of years since I've seen such gorgeous fall foliage. In Washington it rained so much that almost everything stayed green and most of the trees in near my home weren't deciduous. Then last fall we lived near the beach and while we certainly experience the chill of fall weather with wind and snow, the land was flat and once again colorful greenery was sparse. Now, driving down quiet roads while the trees seem to flame around me is a quiet pleasure.

Happy 1st of December, start of advent and the official countdown to the most wonderful time of the year. Before work this morning (only got tomorrow left now!) we put our tree up and I started to decorate it whilst watching festive films. I love having the house decorated, something about it which just makes the whole place look happier, homely and warm. I'm a traditional kind of girl, red, green, gold, holly and lights.

Thanks for all the lovely and sweet comments on my post regarding leaving my job to concentrate for a while on full time freelancing and being creative to really push for what I want, you are all wonderful! I'm getting pretty sad now having to leave the people that I work in the department with because I love them all and they are great friends, I just can't stand the place and it's time for me to go for what I want while I can!

Girls and Gadgets

Last week I spend a whole day in Amsterdam, in a old warehouse/studio to be precise, for a Nokia video/interview shoot together with 5 other bloggers.

I was kind of nervous because I was going to be interviewed about the Nokia Lumia 800 (windows smart phone) and unlike the tattooed dudes from the various game blogs I could not sum up all the technical details and specifications even if my life depended on it :) But maybe that's the very reason why they picked me :)

I guess I'm all about having fun and my gadgets need to look good, don't fall apart and be very easy to use oh and to be clutter proof; (see the screenshot of my desktop).. the last thing in world that I need is my phone to look like my desktop! and here is where the Nokia interface (whoops I learned a technical term) comes in; easy peasy buttons/tabs that I cannot mess up (I just changed the color into hot magenta pink btw)

The magenta headphones are from Monster and I ended up wearing them as a accessory the whole day! (somehow the guys kept mistaking the color for red? it's the weirdest thing, like guys cannot see magenta?)

Anyway, I hope I can share the video with you guys soon! and to give you a tiny heads up... it looks like I will be giving away 1 Nokia phone next week :)

Brightly Colored

Ok Everyone!! Raise your hand if you're already sick of the early dark evenings? I wake up in the dark and I get home from work in the dark. It's bumming my mood!!! Now, what do you think cures my doldrums due to darkness? Well a vibrant burnt orange cape of course!! I found this stellar knitted cape at a Salvation Army many months ago and it's finally the right season to bring it out. I believe it's from the 70s, judging by the style and tag, so I went with another all 70s outfit for my Sunday excursions. My favorite feathered blouse made another appearance for this look and then my trusty H&M trousers.

Oh, and now that we're all into the holiday season I figured I'd throw it out there that I am super duper excited to finally get my home decorated. Complete with a post too!! I love showing off my kitschy decorating skills;) So far I have a small white Christmas tree sitting in a corner waiting for lights and ornaments so I ought to get right to it!!

Nowa ulubiona skórzana kamizelka, biały ciepły sweter, asymetryczna spódnica i futrzana torebka, to mój strój sprzed kilku dni. Nie miałam ostatnio dostępu do Internetu, więc post musiał trochę poczekać z wystawieniem. Co roku gdy przychodzi zima odruchowo kupuje futrzane (sztuczne) ubrania i dodatki, a przede wszystkim okrycia wierzchnie, bo jest mi w nich najcieplej. Najfajniejsze jakie ostatnio widziałam - u Vanessy: ze skórzaną bazą i czarnymi futrzanymi rękawami.

ENGLISH: This is my outfit from the last week. When winter come I can't resist buying furry clothes and accesories. The nicest thing I've seen recently, Vanessa's motorcycle jacket with furry arms and leather center. It makes the look, love it!

The day before yesterday I was in the H&M trying to decide if I wanted to buy these or not.. I didn't figuring I had so many shoes already.. went home, turned on the computer and started browsing my favorite blogs to catch up on posts.. Then I saw the Cherry Blossom Girl's posts with the Lace Valentino Boots and the Lace Louboutin's. Well that did the trick for me haha of course these are nowhere near as great as the Valentino's or Louboutin's but I'm really happy with them! Also they are made of a mesh like material so who knows maybe I will embellish them some day?

At River Island London collection presentation

Parka's, bright florals and tribal prints, scuba dresses and lace... there surely was enough to see at the River Island spring/summer 2012 presentation in London. We got to speak with head of design Farida, who started folding clothes at the stores as a teenager and since then worked her way up to the top. My favorites seen here are the matching pencil skirt and bustier, the army green parka and uhm... that insanely delicious raspberry champagne ;)

Most of the pics are from last week, my time away. It was really nice to live minimally and get in touch with

I started to play with layering different socks on top of each other (I used sheer panty socks)I kind of like the effect :)
Also I'm wearing eyeliner and I was surprised to see what a difference it actually makes!

Marni next H&M guest designer: the collection video

Waking up to e-mails with the headline 'Marni is the new guest designer for H&M'. Now that's a nice way to start your day. First thing I thought was: wow, is Versace even out of stores yet? And the second thing was: Please, please, please do shoes! I've admired Marni's sophisticated and signature prints and phenomenal shoes (their cut out wedge caused me to spent hours on eBay and Yoox).

According to H&M, the collection is inspired on classic Marni pieces, like their 7/8th pants, pleated dresses and jacquard knits. All executed in tribal meets Bauhaus prints. I'm curious how this collection will play out and we'll be able to see it 'live' in stores on March 8th. For now: this video gives a good impression. Are you excited or not?

Check out my alien looking hands in the first picture... sick1zzzz. Some recent nail art that have adorned my lanky fingers. I love the disco ball look of the rhinestone nail, I don't have the best top coat which I do need to invest in, it looked amazing for the whole day until when rummaging in my bag for my oyster card I spotted a crazy coloured item inside and it turned out that the whole paint job came off in one swift movement, bugger. I'm doing my nails right now and this photo is my inspiration.

I'm also selling lots of lovely items on Ebay. Took advantage of the free listings this weekend. Many of the outfits you will have seen on this blog. I'm selling Urban Outfitters dress and playsuit, ASOS coat, Knitted chanel look cardigan and lots more lovely items, definitely worth a look. I had to 'gracifully' bend down quite a few times due to dropping my handful of goodies, or to reach something, or to tie my shoes. You'd think I'd know better!!! To make my outfit a little more demure I wanted to add something that would compliment the lace. What compliments lace better than a pretty cashmere and fur jacket? Quite honestly, I think I would probably love this outfit a little more if the fur collar wasn't real, but I'll take what I can get:)

Speaking of this jacket, I actually bought it about 2 1/2 years ago from my local thrift shop and this is the first time I ever really wore it outside. I wanted to keep it pristine and tidy. When I first saw the jacket I immidiatley fell head over heels for it. But it was $30. According to the thrift shop manager, it was made by a tailor local to Norfolk in the 1940s. So I slept on it and the very next morning I made sure to buy it. When something creeps into your dreams in the middle of the night, that means something, right? hehe..

Well, I hope you all enjoyed a lovely weekend!! I spent mine doing some holiday stuff and hanging out with my parents. Productive enough:)

Hopefully it is not apparent in these photos, but I have the worst cold ever

right now! My nose is basically identical to Rudolph's (thank goodness for

concealer), and my head feels like a bowling ball at all times. But oh well...

hopefully this means I am getting it out of the way and my immune system

will just become stronger! Anyways, it's not like I am actually sick, it is just

a cold so I went about my weekend as I normally would have. Of course I

bundled myself in cozy knits and this over-sized vintage top that Steffy from

Steffy's Pros & Cons gifted me for my birthday was just perfect to keep me

comfy.

To coincide with the release of Breaking Dawn last week Dee and I decided it appropriate to illustrate the two main characters for Made from the Stars. I found an amazing shoot of Kristen were she looked so glamourous and a lot more grown up, very scene siren like. I used mixed media consisting of watercolour, pencil and charcoal. I edited my painting of Kristen twice so on this blog post it is slightly lighter, which really makes the eye colour pop and alternatively it's more contrasted on mine and Dees blog. I love how Dee only used pencil to create the sketch of Robert as it really creates that rough texture. maybe I will use just pencil on one of my Made from the Stars illustrations.

I don't usually post children's clothes, but the Culdesac line is anything but typical kids clothes. The line started after new parents Hayley and Cameron Barker grew frustrated trying to find clothes for their son Ender. The result is a collection full of incredibly stylish clothes that re-envision adult basics for a child's wardrobe--nearly everything is complete with the perfect oversize pockets. While very modern in design, I do get a vintage feel from the collection (perhaps because historically children were dressed more androgynous and also rather like miniature adults). Additionally, the clothes are produced from start to finish locally; the sewers are even women who work from home. While I don't have children on my horizon, this is how I would dress them--maybe I can start shopping now as an aunt...

Right now I'm busy making all my summer outfits winter proof by just adding black tights and cardigans to outfits, easy peasy!

Oh I do have to tell you about the shoes! When going to New York you will need to bring good "walking shoes" since you will be walking a lot! Packing wise I wanted to bring shoes I could simply tuck a way easy so I bought these a day before the trip for $3 (yes three) at the H&M (just for this trip) in the end maybe that wasn't the smartest move since the shoes were new and thus.. hurting feet! next time I will stick with my old sneakers :)

Yesterday was all about seeing Foster The People at Shepherds Bush and handing my notice in at work! I went for it... I needed to for my sanity, piece of mind and to repair my soul haha. As of Saturday next week I will be a full time freelancer and self employed. I can't wait, It's exciting and scary at the same time. I have to register with the tax 'people' (clued up, clearly...) that I'm self employed as I will obviously still be paying tax. In particular I'd like to say a big thank you to Antonia and Cathryn for their email and tweet support with lots of information and encouragement, to go for what I want. And of coarse my incredibly supportive family who i love and appreciate dearly, without them it wouldn't really be possible (ah gushy..) I'm going for it 100% and want to really push myself, get experience and succeed. I'm going to work super hard gaining new clients, jobs, commissions, completing illustrations for magazines, online publications to really build up my work and repertoire of work, send letters and work out to agents, work on my business of jewellery really going to be expanding and having a massive re brand, lots of new designs and pieces on the agenda. So I hope you all stick around and watch this space of things to come, It's not going to be easy but I think it'll be fun and exciting, at times stressful and frightening but that's life!

I have plans for website and blog overhaul as well including new headers, buttons and hopefully some tech savvy html stuff! New features, more regular posting and sharing of work and projects. Is there anything in particular that I do now that you like looking at/ reading? Ideas for new posts or features? please leave a comment!

I was thinking a long time about how to best explain the reasoning behind my favorite 10 DIY bloggers (too bad I couldn't find a DIY for that) I came to the following;

Where to begin on filling you in on my London adventure? I flew out for an experience every fashion loving girl would be excited about. River Island invited me to their head office - a huge building filled with inspiration, pieces of fabric, clothing racks and shoes, where a whopping 600 (!) employees make the designs, patterns, online shop and marketing happen. All About Eve

All About Eve is a stylish, witty film starring the indomitable Bette Davis (as Margo Channing), backed by an impressive cast of supporting actors. Directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz, it has been referred to as the "best film ever made about American theatre." The dialogue won an Academy award and is still being referenced today; "buckle up it's going to be a bumpy night" has become dialect. But to simply view the movie as a clever insider's view of theatre and backstage backstabbing is to miss the director's intent and deeper themes within the work.

The movie acts as parable for American culture and is an almost cautionary tale of our obsession with the self-made man. While we are shown an intimate portrait of the theatre, the theatre itself is a microcosm where the drive to succeed is viewed under a microscope by those who have felt its sting. For Eve her success as an actress is her only measure of worth and she finds no value in others; they're merely tools to an end or obstacles in her way. Of course, someone as manipulative as that is bound to find their equal--in Eve's case a Machiavellian theatre critic, Addison De Witt. The sympathetic characters of the film have achieved success, but without the neurotic focus and drive of Eve; while Margot slips from star into growing obscurity during the film, she still has the relationships of those she loves around her. In sharp contrast, Eve reaches the pinnacle of her career only to appear exhausted with her life (Eve is left intentionally opaque; mostly viewed through the eyes of other characters the viewer often must choose to interpret her actions and guess at her reasoning). The emotional cost of reaching seems a heavy price, but once you've sold your soul to the devil there is no going back and the modern Mephistopheles that is Addison De Witt has every intention on collecting on his star, Eve.

Critical viewers will also note the clever staging and repeated visual themes within the movie. For example, the presence of mirrors in key scenes (from Eve's first introduction to Margo and her friends backstage to the first cracks in Eve's character as she poses in front of one with an appropriated gown from Margo's closet and even the final scene where Phoebe bows to an imagined audience while holding Eve's trophy) is more than casual chance. The mirrors reflect the external focus of those main characters often caught in the reflection; Eve is obsessed with her image, not her physical beauty (it would be pithy to write off the characters as so shallow and basic as that), but acclaim and recognition.

There is a good deal more that could be said of the film, but like most good movies it would be better to just watch it than to talk about it...

This skirt is a newly thrifted item and it's made with a pretty brocade fabric plus it can match practically every color of tights that I have!!! What else can make getting dressed easier?

Oh and for the record, I did not eat tofurkey, in case anyone was interested. It just looks terrible!!! I did however eat my fair share of sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn and beans, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Twas delish. I wish there were more holidays that were centered around mounds of food, friends and family!!!

I know many ladies (and gents) on the web are big fans of cats...I however, am not. It's not that I actively dislike the furry creatures, it's just that given the choice between a cat and a dog, I'd choose the latter every time. Slightly ironic I suppose since my family has often referred to me as being cat-like--my mother likes to call me the "cat who walks alone" (from the Kipling story, "originally all the tame animals were wild, but especially the Cat: he walked by himself and all places were alike to him"). for. Slowly the Christmas decorations are coming out, and I am officially letting

myself listen to Christmas music. Anyways, instead of doing the whole 'Black

Friday' thing today, I am going to hit up some thrift stores and search for some

great vintage pieces as well. Much more therapeutic and fun, in my opinion. This

I do enjoy lace tights like these. It's not that I'm particularly fond of any tights (would rather live somewhere with an eternal summer!), but as I like skirts and dresses I do have to wear something to keep my legs warm as the temperatures drop. I wear solid tights more often than patterned ones like these as the family dogs do love to jump on me and I tend to snag my tights myself by climbing on rocks or wandering through the woods. I didn't have time to style my fringe as quickly washed last night and clipped back, so was a more middle parting kind of a day but managed to pose in a certain way and push my fringe together to give you a general peek at it haha. In the first photo you can see how short it really is apart from the two front bits, in style of the faux bob but for real as seen on Kate and Lauren (just not graduated at the back.)

Visited the Diesel Showroom in Amsterdam for a preview of their new collection! This Diesel collection is the first by a total new design team and I have to say that I'm really impressed with the leather (biker) jackets, the maxi skirts that have really nice design details and the bags that go with amazing washes!

Razem z Shini zostałyśmy zaproszone na urodziny marki Yes i premierę nowej edycji kalendarza, który powstał we współpracy z młodymi polskimi projektantami, w tym moim ulubionym Krzysztofem Stróżyną. Zdjęcia do kalendarza wykonała Aldona Karczmarczyk, a twarzą kampanii została Ewa Witkowska, pierwsza Polka, która trafiła na okładkę francuskiego Vogue'a. Browsing at Waterloo Records, a super famous place where several of my fav

artists have played. Pretty cool too because my uncles used to play here in the 70's.

Food trucks/trailers are literally everywhere in Austin, and I cannot get enough of 'em!

Met up super briefly with Diya from In Her Stilettos! She was super sweet.

Visited one of my favorite shops called Uncommon Objects. Store name is pretty

self-explanatory. They have the craziest stuff here.

More from the shop. I love all these globes!

Giant aloe vera plants are all around the town and I for some reason find

them fascinating!

Although I have been to Austin several times in my life (I have TONS of family there),

every time I go I feel like a bit of a tourist. There is just so much to see, and new

shops and such are always popping up every time I go. It was a super laid-back

weekend and here are a few photos that captured my trip! Sums it up basically.

If you haven't been here yet, I definitely suggest you make the trip :)

Today was a good day... I made some new necklaces for my Jewellery By Jaymie line, finished two commissions and sent them through, had lots of interest in headers which I am loving making right for people right now, completed an illustration for the new magazine Lionheart first issue (If you haven't checked out the site yet, do. It's going to be a lovely magazine!) Had an email from Audrey (frassy) she has used the illustration that I did for her, for some christmas cards which I will be receiving some of some and she will be selling, also we've been discussing the commission and ideas for the bag illustration that I will be designing for Frassy Rags.

A Bird In The Bush

Our home is apparently a popular stop for birds migrating south this winter. I keep seeing hordes of them down by the water and as I was taking these pictures flocks and flocks of starlings kept soaring through the air (on the other side of my tripod, so unfortunately none ended up in my pictures!). Their wings were so loud it sometimes sounded like a train was coming down the track towards me, which was a bit unsettling.

I had my hair cut last night, I know have a full fringe again, a la Daisy Lowe style, I also used this picture of Kate Beckinsale with her fake bob as inspiration, I wanted long bits at front but not graduated and once over it I'll just get my friend who did my hair to lop them off. We also drank bucks fizz and watched the lady in red tourettes video and listened to the most cringe christmas song byJustin Bieber... he raps. Oh my. I finished two commissions, watched the latest Pan Am and then settled down for the evening watching Gremlins, some things about being skint and on a variable spending ban (which I am) who'd have funk it, but I'm actually really resenting spending money at the moment apart from paying things off, I finished paying my Brother for my MacBook and anything else I borrowed off him. I've really been thinking a lot the past couple of weeks and I really want to just work for myself for a bit from home and concentrate on gaining experience, commissions, sending off work to agents and just really focusing on my artwork and jewellery, without hindrance of a job I hate right now, there's so much crap going around there, ah. In some ways want to do it when I don't have the obligations that others may have off owning their own house, kids etc. Anyone have any help or thoughts?

Shiny sequins

Aztec print and rustic sequins mixed up means one cool clutch. I picked it up a while ago and didn't get to wear it yet - I carry loads of stuff in my bags and clutches don't exactly suffice. Planning to take it to dinner in London, with a classic shirt, jeans and heels.

Who Wears The Pants?

This is a change of pace from my last outfit, but this was the perfect thing to wear on a day that was neither too cold nor too warm. This cashmere jacket was a gift from my parent's about three years ago and I always found that it was a jacket for odd weather. Coat sleeves that are 3/4 are weird for staying warm, I guess. Either way, I love the feeling of this jacket and I'll always find some way to wear. Here I am sporting it in a 'Parisian' cool kind of way;) hehe..I joke, but a Parisian man said I looked like I grew up in Europe in this outfit, so how could I disagree?!!

Also, I about made people at work fall out of their chairs when I arrived in pants. I NEVER wear pants to work. I prefer the look of skirts and dresses during the work week, but I wanted to change it up, so I thrifted a really nice pair of Express slacks that fit perfect!!! So now I can say I am the proud owner of a pair of slacks.

Oh and a note about my sweater. I got it from a guy's yard sale!! He collects and sells vintage and I got this amazing green sweater for only $5. Score!!

All containers are from Iittala. I use these thick Ice cube lookalikes for all the tiny things that always used to get lost; a key, an earring, bobby pins, cash money.

And speaking about interior... yesterday my boyfriend and I spent all day and all night painting our house, the floors in light grey and the walls got a new layer of white (all the chocolate finger prints of Lois are gone). It's that time of the year again when you spend most of your time indoors and get the urge to also conform your surroundings to your own aesthetic. Oh, and now I won't have to photoshop the disgusting stains from the wall anymore before publishing an outfit picture. #timesaver

Each November day passes away so quickly and I miss the slow fade of summer evenings. Now night seems to chase the sun from our sky and the temperatures dip with the dying light. Cozy Sweater

Basically, I have been living in this sweater as of late. It's definitely way, way

over-sized but that is what I love about it. This particular day was pretty

chilly this outfit was perfect for it. Also, these jean are amazingly comfy! They

are a LYCRA collab with Seven For All Mankind jeans, so they are super stretchy

and form-fitting. Perfect to pair with cozy sweaters like this on a winter day.

Anyways, I had such an amazing time in

Austin this weekend! Saw tons of family and got to visit my favorite shops as

well. My only complaint is that it was so hot! Even in November. That's

pretty much one of the only things discouraging me from moving there haha.

I haven't had much chance to blog since last week. I've had a lot going on and needed thinking time as well. Alongside my normal day job, I've some lovely Christmas commissions that I've been working on, alongside collaboration work. I also went to see Arthur Christmas on Wednesday, so had a particularly festive type day of eating snowballs, popcorn and Starbucks and on Saturday night, the girls that I'm going to California, Vegas and San Fran with next year, we all spent the night in Essex at a hotel for a special Viva Las Vegas night they were hosting to get in the mood early. Had some wine, lots of yummy food (obese nowzzz) some fun betting and a disturbing Tom Jones act. Oh and FYI that Mississippi mud pie was one of the best things I think I've ever ate!

I've just had a catch up with the first two episodes of Pan Am and I'm loving it. It's definitely filling that Mad Men shaped void within me.

Crossing The Moor In Those Dark Hours

"Did you lie down in a field again?" My mother asked me almost as soon as I walked through the door. At my sheepish yes she informed me that I had carried half of the field home with me on the back of my coat. Whoops. I'm often liable to get caught up in the moment; spying something I want to get a closer look at or chasing some phantom real or imagined and so I rip my tights or get my hair caught on outstretched tree branches and bushes. I slide and sometimes fall trying to scramble down steep hills--it's not an adventure if I don't end it with a few bruises or scrapes. With summer insects dying away in early morning frosts I'm beginning to venture away from sandy beaches and into unfamiliar fields while chasing flocks of migrating birds...
